Reported to the register 26/08/2021
What is wrong: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2021-2022 F-Type, 2020-2021 F-Pace, and 2021 XF vehicles. The seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly.
The risk: An unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash.
The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed October 20, 2021. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H378.
What this page can and cannot tell you
These are the campaigns the American register (NHTSA) links to this model and year: the ones that may cover the car. Whether one specific car is included, and whether its repair was already carried out, only the manufacturer or the authority's own VIN lookup can confirm. A recall repair is free at an authorised dealer.
Where we hold the notice, the link goes to our own page, which keeps every version of the wording — including any the manufacturer rewrote after publication. Where we do not, the link goes to the authority.
Confirm this exact car by VIN: here, or at NHTSA, DVSA, Transport Canada.
