CarsMultiverse is an independent record of vehicle safety recalls from seven national and European registers. We read the registers every day, keep every version of every notice, and publish what changed after it was announced. People arrive at one moment: a recall has been announced, or they are checking the car on their drive, the one they are about to buy, or the one they insure.
The record, today
recall records, seven registers
United States campaigns
Canada recalls
United Kingdom recalls
European Union alerts
Netherlands campaigns
Japan notifications
Israel recall notices
notices searchable by meaning, in any language
Read automatically: United States (NHTSA), last 9 October 2026; Canada (Transport Canada), last 9 October 2026; Netherlands (RDW), last 9 October 2026; Israel (Ministry of Transport), last 9 October 2026. Live status: /api/v1/status.
What no one else has
- Every version of a notice. Registers overwrite their own text. We keep each version with a checksum and publish the rewrites (374 caught by the daily reads so far).
- Seven countries in one record. The same defect, recalled in different countries on different days, matched on the maker's own campaign code.
- Whether the repair was done. For the Netherlands and Israel, the share of vehicles still unrepaired, and a number-plate check that shows the open recalls on one exact car.
- What owners report. Anonymous, fixed-choice reports from owners: repaired or not, did it fix it, how long they waited.
For affiliate programmes
Placement is possible on the guidance pages, the vehicle check and the model hubs, never inside a recall notice. Categories that fit this audience: vehicle history and VIN reports, diagnostic tools, replacement parts, independent warranty comparison, insurance comparison and car buying. Every commercial link carries rel="sponsored" and a visible label. We say no to anything that sells a paid version of a repair a manufacturer must do free. The full policy is on Advertise.
For data partners, insurers, dealers and fleets
- Open API, no key: OpenAPI,
/api/v1/search,/api/v1/notice,/api/v1/vehicle(VIN, make/model/year, NL and IL number plates),/api/v1/status. CC BY 4.0. - Private feeds on request: a watch list of makes or campaigns, every rewrite as it is caught, bulk history with checksums.
- Recall check widget for any website, two lines of HTML: get it.
For AI companies and assistants
The record is built to be cited. An MCP server at https://carsmultiverse.com/mcp (tools: search by number, make, model or plain words in any language; one notice with its citation; one vehicle's recalls), an A2A agent, llms.txt, Markdown for every page on request, and a citation line in every answer. Assistants that use it send readers back to the notice.
Audience
Readers are worldwide and arrive mostly from search at the moment a recall matters to them. We publish only numbers we can evidence: sessions, countries and devices are sent on request from Google Analytics and Search Console, with the reporting period stated. A bot filter went live on 22 September 2026, so figures from that date on are clean.
What is never for sale
The record itself, the findings, editorial placement and reader data. No payment changes, delays or removes a notice or a rewrite we have caught.
