The transport ministry in Japan has published every vehicle recall notified to it since 1993. There are 10,518, and each one has a page here: the fault, the models it covers, how many vehicles, and what the maker proposed to do about it. The ministry's own account of the fault stays in Japanese, because a safety notice is not a thing to translate. Everything around it is in English.
